4 members of Coastal Carolina University's Numbers & Bytes club attended the Electronic Entertainment Expo, commonly referred to as "E3" in June 2013. N&B club members Sean Lynn, Chrissie Kline, Ben Burns, and Joey Loftus traveled to Los Angeles, CA to attend the 3-day conference for game developers and corporations. The students had the opportunity to get a firsthand look at new technologies in gaming, and they were able to speak with representatives from many different companies, from startups to Fortune 500 corporations.

As part of the trip, the group members also enjoyed a private tour of the facilities of Riot Games in Santa Monica, where they met with the company's lead designer, Rob Garret. The students were able to see "where the magic happens" to create the game League of Legends, and they spoke with employees to gain an insider's view of the industry.
