Coastal Carolina University invites applications for a full-time lecturer position in the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems, beginning August 2013. Teaching responsibilities will include courses throughout the undergraduate curriculum. We are specifically seeking candidates that have experience teaching undergraduate CS1 and CS2 courses.

Required Qualifications: A Master's degree or earned doctorate in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or a relevant field; and demonstrated experience teaching undergraduate computer science and/or information systems students.

The Department of Computer Science and Information Systems at Coastal Carolina consists of eight tenure-track and three full-time teaching faculty. CSIS faculty are actively conducting research in parallel and distributed systems, software engineering, image processing, multimedia classification, and computer science education. The Computer Science program is accredited by ABET/CAC.
