Coastal Carolina University invites applications for a full-time lecturer position in the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems, beginning August 2014. Teaching responsibilities will include courses throughout the undergraduate curriculum with a particular emphasis on introductory programming classes.
Applicants must have a Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a closely related field. Experience teaching introductory undergraduate programming classes and knowledge of the Java programming language are preferred. Teaching responsibilities will include courses throughout the undergraduate curriculum, with a particular emphasis on introductory programming classes. Prior experience with distance learning would be beneficial.
The Department of Computer Science and Information Systems at Coastal Carolina University consists of eight tenure-track faculty and three full-time lecturers.
