The Computer Science department at Coastal Carolina University offers several programs of study for students. The department offers a degree in Computer Science, a minor in Computer Science, a degree in Information Systems, a minor in Computer Science, as well as a dual degree partnership with Clemson University.
This degree is designed to prepare students for graduate work in Computer Science and for computer related careers in the industry. The Engineering Dual Degree program offers students the opportunity to begin their academic career by pursuing a Bachelors degree at Coastal Carolina University while preparing for an Engineering degree from Clemson University.
The student will spend three years at Coastal Carolina University majoring in one of four degrees. The student will then spend two years and one summer at Clemson University majoring in one of eight engineering degrees that is compatible with their major at Coastal Carolina University.
