The Computer Science department at Coastal Carolina University offers several programs of study for students. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science

Bachelor of Science in Information Systems

This degree is designed to prepare students for graduate work in Informational Systems and for related positions in business and industry. See Required Courses.

Minor in Computer Science

The Computer Science minor is designed to give Non-CS majors a well rounded understanding of the field of Computer Science. After completing the minor, they will be able to effectively apply Computer Science to their own major. See Required Courses.

Web Application Development Minor

The purpose of the minor in Web Application Development is to provide programming-level training in the technology needed to develop database-driven web applications.

Engineering Dual Degree Program with Clemson University

The Engineering Dual Degree program offers students the opportunity to begin their academic career by pursuing a Bachelors degree at Coastal Carolina University while preparing for an Engineering degree from Clemson University.

The student will spend three years at Coastal Carolina University majoring in one of four degrees. The student will then spend two years and one summer at Clemson University majoring in one of eight engineering degrees that is compatible with their major at Coastal Carolina University.
